The assessment really helped me and my son understand why he has been having difficulties over the years. He has now got help he needs in exams and his teacher and support teacher have been able to change how they work with him.

Julia Bainbridge
Mother of a college student

The assessment was done as part of her EHCP. It proved very helpful particularly with how some of the outcomes in the plan could be achieved and what support she needed to understand her lessons. When she couldn't get on with the reader pen her support was allowed to read for her in exams.

Laura Carter
Parent of college students.

My student's assessment coupled with the teaching guide that the assessor provided, gave us clear and practical teaching and support strategies to enable him access the curriculum and really start to interact with staff and the other students. The amount of support he requires has reduced significantly and his performance in assessments has really improved now that he has extra time and the use of a laptop with the spell checker enabled.
